Neil J. Gagnon

Before founding Gagnon Securities LLC in January 2000, Neil had over 30 years of experience in the securities industry both as a portfolio manager and analyst. He began his career as a research analyst at Mutual Benefit Life Insurance Company and moved to Argus Research. Neil was an early partner at Hambrecht & Quist, a West Coast based Investment Banking firm. In 1975 he joined Gilder, Gagnon, Howe & Co. as a portfolio manager and analyst; he was a managing partner for over twenty-five years.

Neil’s has a B.S. in Engineering Physics from Pratt Institute and an M.B.A. in Economics from New York University.
