Kelly Pan

Kelly began her career in electrical engineering with Digital Equipment Corporation. From there she served as a marketing manager at Intel Corporation before entering the financial industry as a venture capital investor with Merrill Lynch Venture Capital from 1986 to 1989 as well as arbitrage trading at First Boston Corporation. From 1991 to 1996, she was a hedge fund manager at Morgens, Waterfall & Vintiadis with responsibility for long and short positions. She then joined Zesiger Capital as a partner responsible for making investments in domestic equities with an emphasis on technology companies. In 1998 Kelly founded the hedge fund, Pantheon Partners, and continues running it. She joined Gagnon Securities in 2003 and is a partner in the firm.

She holds a B.S. and an M.S. in Electrical Engineering from Massachusetts Institute of Technology and participated in its co-operative work study program sponsored at IBM Yorktown Research Laboratories. Ms. Pan also holds a Masters degree in Business Administration from the Harvard Graduate School of Business Administration.
